The Jackson T. Stephens Spine & Neurosciences Institute offers a wide variety of educational opportunities within the Institute. Residencies within neurology, neurosurgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation and otolaryngology.
Neurology
The Department of Neurology offers a four-year residency training program in adult neurology. Our residency program includes rotations in stroke services, neuropathology, neuroophthamology, epilepsy and outpatient clinics.
Neurosurgery
The Department of Neurosurgery provides medical students with a broad neurosurgical background and exposure to subspecialties as well as opportunities for residents to engage in both clinical and basic research.
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation has educational opportunities inside the neurology/ neurosurgery block as well as a four-week elective specializing in PM&R.
Otolaryngology
The Department of Otolaryngology provides education in comprehensive medical and surgical care of patients with diseases and disorders that affect the ears, the upper respiratory and upper alimentary systems, and related structures of the head and neck.
